  • Establishment of comprehensive nuclear safety plans, their implementation plans for each area, and project implementation plans for each year
  • Establishment and adjustment of basic policies related to nuclear safety
  • Comprehensive management, adjustment and coordination of policy research projects in the areas of nuclear safety
  • Establishment and implementation of policies to manage severe accidents at nuclear power plants
